Inter Milan are one of the sides chasing Arturo Vidal because their coach Antonio Conte wants him to join the squad. They finished fourth last year, which they are looking to improve on, and impress in the Champions League after a group stage knock out.

Despite signing Stefano Sensi (on loan from Sassuolo) and Nicolo Barella (on loan from Cagliari) the Italian side are still looking to reinforce. Conte doesn't need Radja Nainggolan, Bora Valero or Joao Mario. Inter have spent 22m on Valentino Lazaro, 20 on Matteo Politano and 12 for goalkeepr Ionut Radu, among other acquisitions.

Vidal played in the Copa America with Chile, getting to the semi-finals, and has not yet returned to Barcelona training as a result. Valverde likes Vidal and won't let him leave too easily.
