Philippe Coutinho arrived on Sunday in Munich to sign his contract. Now he has met his new team-mates and the Brazilian, on loan at Bayern from Barcelona, is ready to go.
"For me, this signing means a new challenge in a new country at one of the best clubs in Europe, I'm very motivated," said the playmaker.
"I'm not a person who likes talking about myself but I like to play in the middle of the pitch and create chances to score.
"Although I don't really know the city, my first feelings, the treatment I've received from those I've met, has been really polite and respectful."
In comments to Bayern's website he added: "I can't wait to put on the shirt and start to play."
Bayern sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic added: "Coutinho left it very clear that during the negotiations with Barcelona, he wanted to sign for Bayern without a doubt.
