Philippe Coutinho starred as Bayern Munich came from behind on Saturday to hammer Werder Bremen 6-1 at the Allianz Arena.
The visitors took a surprise lead through Milot Rashica in the 24th minute before Coutinho, on loan at the German champions from Barcelona, took centre stage.
The Brazilian scored a stunning hat-trick and set up two more as Bayern moved up to fourth in the Bundesliga.
Coutinho levelled in the 42nd minute before the red-got Robert Lewandowski edged Hansi Flick's side into the lead in the fourth minute of first-half stoppage time.
With the floodgates opened, Coutinho added a third before quickfire Lewandowski and Thomas Muller goals made it 5-1.
The rout was completed in the 78th minute when Coutinho completed his treble as he fights for a future at Bayern, who have an option to sign him permanently from Barça in the summer.
