Xavi: The pandemic has been a life lesson

Former Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez believes that the Covid-19 pandemic has been "a life lesson" for the world and hopes that football can help people return to normality.

"I have no doubt that football will help us return to normality, with some luck," said Xavi. "Sport has restarted in many parts of the world. The pandemic has been a life lesson for everyone.

"I think that we will appreciate the small things in life after this test."
