Former Barcelona captain Xavi Hernandez, now playing for Al Sadd in Qatar, has said on Thursday that he would like to see Gianluigi Buffon "win the Champions League."
"It would be the moment which crowned his career. As a Barcelona fan it's logical that I want Juve to win, but I also want them to win for Buffon and for Dani Alves, they deserve it," Xavi told website sc.qa, adding that "Alves has made the difference in the competition, he's an impressive player."
On the final between Real Madrid and Juventus, Xavi said he sees it being an even contest, "50-50, there's no clear favourite. Juve have done things well in recent years and Madrid are also really strong, they've signed good players. It will be a great final."
He added: "For Juve, Dybala and Higuian make the difference in attack; Dani Alves contributes in defence and gives assists further forward. For Madrid, Benzema can make the difference, as can Isco, Modric or Cristiano Ronaldo."
