Ernesto Valverde spoke about various subjects ahead of his return to his former side, Athletic Club, this weekend. One of the questions referred to Luis Suarez's form.
The Barça coach was clear in his response to the idea that Suarez is not in food form, saying that he does not agree with that and almost appearing to be annoyed.

According to Valverde, "Luis Suarez is fine" and he added that from his point of view the forward "has already played some good games this season and is full of confidence... The question implies that he's not had good performances. He has."
Finally, Valverde made it clear that not just Suarez needs to play well, but that "all the team needs to play well."
ALBA's BACK
Valverde was also asked about Jordi Alba, who has missed the last three games with a thigh strain.
