After a week in which Nelson Semedo's move to Barcelona was made official, there was an additional surprise when on top of the 30 million euro fee for the defender, it was revealed the Blaugrana will pay a special clause.
In the document which Benfica always release after a transfer, they showed that Barcelona had paid 30.569.728 million euros for the Portuguese right-back. They also explained that for every 50 official games Semedo plays, Barcelona must pay an extra 5,094,955 euros, until he renews his contract for the first time.
