Arsenal are still anticipating an offer from Barcelona for their star striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The report says the Gunners are expecting the Catalan club to table a bid before the end of the week as they look to find a replacement for the injured Luis Suarez.

It even suggests that Aubameyang is their first choice, with Valencia's Rodrigo Moreno only the fallback option if it doesn't happen.

Aubameyang, 30, is out of contract in 2021 and has not yet agreed to a new deal. The Telegraph, though, say Barça 'fear' Arsenal will demand more than €50 million -- curiously a similar amount to the cost of Rodrigo.

They deny that Barça and Aubameyang have reached a pre-agreement over a contract, but say the Gabon international would, like most, be keen to attend a call from Camp Nou.
