Negotiations between Inter Milan and Lautaro Martinez over a new contract have stalled. The presence of the forward's agents in Milan has led to all sorts of speculation about his future.
The fact their visit coincides with the Champions League game between Inter and Barcelona has added more fuel to the fire. If it seemed that in the last few days an agreement was close over a new deal, now it seems that, for the Italian club, there's no rush.
According to various reports in Italy, Inter are not in a hurry to improve Lautaro's terms. His current deal runs until 2023. Last season they increased his salary to 2.5 million euros, including image rights, and for the moment there's no intention to better that deal, at least not until the end of the campaign.
