Barcelona's first team trained on Friday at the Ciudad Deportiva as Ernesto Valverde prepares his players for Sunday's Catalan clash against Girona at Camp Nou.
However, Valverde was without midfielder Arthur Melo. The club have confirmed that the Brazilian international worked alone but did not reveal the reason why.
Arthur, who has yet to start a league game since signing from Gremio in the summer, could still feature this weekend as Valverde looks at making changes.
The midfielder came on as a second-half substitute against PSV Eindhoven in midweek and may make his first start when Girona visit this weekend.
