Barcelona, as champions of La Liga and the Copa del Rey, will start next season with the Spanish Super Cup, the first trophy which will be up for grabs for Ernesto Valverde's side. As Barça have won the double, they will face Sevilla in the final, the Copa del Rey runners-up.
Barça and Sevilla now know the dates for the Super Cup. Keeping in mind that the La Liga season will start on the August 18/19, the first leg is set to be played in Seville on August 11.

The second leg will be played three days later, at Camp Nou on August 14. That's just one day before the European Super Cup, which could be between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid if they each win the Champions League and Europa League respectively this month.
