Phillipe Coutinho has asked Liverpool to leave by handing in a transfer request, according to Sky Sports. Barcelona are desperate to sign the attacking midfielder and have had two bids rejected.
However Liverpool have, via some British reporters, denied Coutinho has handed in the request. Later on Friday some of these reporters then claimed Coutinho had indeed handed in a transfer request as he tries to force his way to the Camp Nou.
This situation continues while Barcelona also try to sign Borussia Dortmund's Ousmane Dembele, for whom they had a bid which could reach 130m euros rejected.
