There are still nine months to go before it becomes official, but FC Barcelona' already know the design of their new shirt for the 2022-23 season.

Those who have seen it assure that it is spectacular. The design, made by Nike at its headquarters in Oregon, is said to be inspired by the Olympic Games held in Barcelona in 1992.

The first shirt approved by president Joan Laporta in his second spell at the club is a new and original design, although much less groundbreaking than this season's effort.

It will be vertical stripes but not the traditional vertical Barça stripes. The new shirt will stand out for its innovative blue upper part across the shoulders.

And then, from the chest to the waist, it will continue with much narrower stripes than usual with the colors red, strong blue and a lighter blue. The shorts will be navy blue.

With regard to the away kit, the new shirt will recover that color between gold and beige that FC Barcelona already used in Joan Laporta's previous spell and that Ronaldinho wore on various occasions and with such success.
