Sergio Busquets, one of FC Barcelona's captains, was pleased with the team's progress to the Copa del Rey semi-finals. However he took a dig at Espanyol's players when speaking after the game.
"We're happy for the victory and to be in the semis again. They didn't create any danger for us. We controlled the game well although we knew a goal against us would complicate things.
"They celebrated as if they had qualified after winning the first leg, but the ties are 180 minutes and we showed we are far superior and are in the semis.
"We had control of the game. They made very few chances, they came to defend. We went for the game, it was two goals but it could have been more. We were far superior in terms of the play and the chances."
