It seems two days of silence was enough. Little by little, Barcelona players are turning to social media to react to the loss to Liverpool on Tuesday. After Arturo Vidal and Jordi Alba, Sergi Roberto's the latest to comment on Barça's Champions League KO.

"These have been really difficult days for us and I want to say sorry to the fans for being knocked out of the Champions League in this way," he said.

"We wanted to be in the final more than anyone. Now it's the moment to be more united than ever. I am sure that my teammates and I will pick ourselves up with your help. Thanks to everyone for supporting us in such tough moments. We are going to give everything to win the title we have left [Copa del Rey]."

It is a message which calls for unity and points out that there is still something to be played for this season, a domestic double to be won. Roberto finished his message: "Força Barça, ara i sempre! [now and forever]."

Remember that before Friday there had been no sign of life from the Barça players on social media. Sergio Busquets and Luis Suarez fulfilled media duties after the game but there was no other comment until Vidal's message earlier on Friday.
