Neymar's future is one of the summer's biggest stories. The Brazilian is anxious to leave Paris Saint-Germain and return to Spain, preferably with Barça.
Whilst everyone knows of the interest in Neymar at the Camp Nou, and Real Madrid, there was a third option on the table for PSG. Jose Carlos Peres, who is the president of Santos, tried to bring Neymar back on a six-month loan.
"That was a possibility. It was complicated, of course, but it was an option. We tried to bring him here for six months until December. We spoke with people close to his father but it wasn't possible," Peres told Globo Esporte.
Neymar scored 70 goals and provided 35 assists in 134 matches for Santos.
