Everything is pointing towards Jordi Cruyff becoming Barcelona’s technical secretary in the coming days. He’s the man Joan Laporta wants to lead the club in that regard and Koeman likes the idea too.

In his press conference he spoke about the potential arrival of the Dutchman.

“Right now I can’t say a lot, it’s up to the president. Laporta has to decide his team in important positions and that’s that. I know Jordi and his family well and he would be a good candidate, but I don’t know. When the president takes over they will talk about roles inside the club.”

On Laporta, Koeman added: “I haven’t spoken much to him. We had a little chat on various things in Paris. We have to meet for a longer time. Now’s not the moment to talk outside the club.”
