Ronald Araujo: Solid, intense and safe

The Uruguayan B teamer was great as Barca won 5-0 at Alaves

Ronald Araujo, 21, started against Alaves with Samuel Umtiti injured, Gerard Pique suspended and Todibo out on loan. And, in only his second start of the season, did very well. He played alongside Clement Lenglet calmly, working with Busquets in bringing the ball out and kept Lucas Perez at bay.

After the break Arturo Vidal became his partner with Lenglet off injured. Even alongside the Chilean he was calm, alert, and quick to snuff out danger in an impressive individual and team display. Definitely a player who could feature a lot more in the future for the Catalan giants.
