Ernesto Valverde confirmed in his press conference ahead of the match with Alaves that Rafinha was "another member of the squad" but the footballer didn't even play a single minute of that match. He was a starter in the Spanish Super Cup against Sevilla though.
Despite those reassuring words from the head coach, Rafinha is looking for a new club so that he can play more often than he believes he would at Barça this season. According to RAC1 this Monday, the midfielder is negotiating a loan move to Real Betis. The radio station claims Rafinha would fit in perfectly with Quique Setien's plans at the club following their 3-0 home defeat to Levante last Friday.
