Ronald Koeman's future on the Barcelona bench is in doubt beyond the end of the season after one win in five ended the club's title hopes.
According to RAC1, the Catalan club have "99 percent" decided to sack the Dutch coach. The other one percent depends on them being able to find a suitable replacement. If they can't, Koeman could continue.
The report explains that Koeman is not Joan Laporta's choice, given he was appointed by Josep Maria Bartomeu, and that the Barça president feels he could have done better in this final stretch of the campaign.
It adds that Laporta didn't want to make any rash decisions during the season and destabilise the team, given they were fighting for La Liga and the Copa del Rey.
However, they are working on replacing Koeman, although if there are no credible candidates, the Hero of Wembley could yet fulfil his two-year deal, which runs until 2022.
