All the roads appear to lead to Neymar rejoining FC Barcelona. The latest clue is 'El Pais' are reporting that Kylian Mbappe is set to be rewarded with a new contract as to avoid losing him next summer to Pep Guardiola's Manchester City.
The club's president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, will offer Mbappe a contract that will tie him down for the next five seasons and ward off interest from City. He would become the second-highest earner in world football.
Once Neymar's wages are off the books, Mbappe would earn around €50m per season, some €20m more than the Brazilian and €38m more than he's currently on.
Guardiola is a huge fan of the striker and has been in constant contact with him since 2017.
Now PSG have an even greater need to move on Neymar as soon as possible.
