Barcelona defender Gerard Pique is now in the United States. The Catalan centre-back is at Harvard University taking a course in ‘Business, Media, Sports and Entertainment’ which begins on May 31 and costs 9,250 US dollars.
While at Harvard, Pique has already been recognised by students there. He will remain there until June 3 and for that reason, as he's already confirmed recently, will miss the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Juventus.
However, he will return to join up with Julen Lopetegui's Spain squad next month. He may, though, be given permission to join up later than the other players, as is the case with Madrid's players who are playing in the Champions League final.
The course he's taking, according to the university, "is appropriate for those in the talent industry -- including professional athletes, musicians, and actors -- as well as for agents, managers, and other individuals who represent talent.
