Pedro has two potential suitors in England, should he decide to leave

The future of Pedro Rodriguez is still undecided, despite the player recently extending his contract until the 30th of June 2019. Although his desire is to continue wearing a Barça shirt, the difficult task of breaking into the best offensive trident in history basically obliges him to re-think his situation during pre-season, which starts on the 13th of July.

And he has to keep in mind that various European clubs of high stature have let him known of their interest in recent days. The most recent, Liverpool and Arsenal, have got in contact with the management of the player in an official manner in order to discover his availability and negotiate a possible transfer.

The Premier League is tempting for Pedro, in case he is obliged to leave Barça, and he is already considering that British clubs' styles of play can favour his attributes. Liverpool's offer is the one which is most tempting to the forward.

The English club is testing the waters for a replacement for Raheem Sterling, who has big offers on the table from Chelsea and Pep Guardiola's Bayern. Brendan Rodgers has asked the club to only sell the talented winger when they have found him a guaranteed replacement, with the Northern Irish coach picking out Pedro as an alternative name.

Arsenal are also interested in the Barça forward. The ongoing project of Arsene Wenger needs a footballer capable of exciting the Emirates crowd and after failing to sign Arda Turan, due to Barcelona, they are focusing on the Spaniard. Wenger is able to offer a generous contract in order to convince him to play for the Gunners next season.

However, though PSG are also sniffing around, Pedro's first-choice option is to remain at Barça. He knows that Messi, Neymar and Luis Suarez are ahead of him, and it will be very difficult to play regularly, which will be important should he want to play at the Euros. He is ready to fight for his place, as he has demonstrated on other occasions.
