Ronald Koeman may make the odd change from Sunday's 1-0 win against Levante

Barcelona are in La Liga action on Wednesday when they host league leaders Real Sociedad at Camp Nou (21.00h CET).

Real Sociedad have not lost away from home yet this season (four wins, two draws) and have picked up more points on the road than at Anoeta (14 vs. 12).

It will be a big test for Ronald Koeman's side, then, following Sunday's 1-0 win against Levante, which ended a run of two defeats in all competitions.

Koeman is contemplating the odd change to the side that beat Levante, with Pedri a possibility to come in for Philippe Coutinho.

Barça XI

There are other unknowns but many certainties. Koeman has little room to rotate at the back and Ter Stegen, Dest, Araujo, Lenglet and Alba are likely to be the back five once again.

In midfield, Miralem Pjanic could get a chance, although it's more likely Sergio Busquets and Frenkie de Jong keep their places. Carles Aleña and Riqui Puig are other, less likely, options.

In attack, Lionel Messi will start, plus three more. Antoine Griezmann will probably continue, as will Martin Braithwaite having impressed as a fixed No.9 in recent weeks.

That leaves Coutinho or Pedri to complete the XI, with the youngster expected to be preferred to the mis-firing Brazilian.
