Pablo Torre getting close to his Barca chance

Pablo Torre is still in the first team dynamic and Xavi has called him up to the first team squad for the game against Athletic Club.

The youth player has not debuted in La Liga yet and has only had minutes against Viktoria Plzen.

Xavi says he counts on Pablo Torre, though, and could use him at any moment.

“I would like for him to play more, against Villarreal I wanted him to have some minutes, we thought about it, but because of situations of people having knocks, preventing injuries, the changes made were more or less obligated at 3-0.”

He said that Torre “is training well, there’s competition, it’s about patience, he’s training well and I’m sure that his moment will arrive.”
