Barcelona's worst fears were confirmed. Ousmane Dembele will be out for around five weeks after the injury he suffered against Girona at Montilivi on Saturday. The Frenchman went off in the 25th minute after pulling up.
First tests showed it was a quads injury and reports said he would be out for around three weeks, but it's a bit worse than they thought - there's a small tear in one part and five weeks is more realistic. It's not serious but it all depends on how it improves and the scarring.
Dembele could miss both Manchester United clashes, as well as league games against Betis, Sevilla, Villarreal, Cadiz, Almeria, and Valencia. Plus a Copa del Rey semi-final.
