Ernesto Valverde said there would be changes against Tottenham with Barcelona already through to the next round of the Champions League as group winners.

The Barça coach has stuck to his word, with Champions League debuts handed to left-back Juan Miranda and Carles Alena.

There are also starts for Ousmane Dembele and Philippe Coutinho, with Lionel Messi on the bench and Luis Suarez not in the squad.

Valverde's defence is Semedeo, Lenglet, Vermaelen and Miranda. In midfield is Rakitic, Aleña and Arthur, who returns from injury.

The attacking trident will be formed by Dembele, Munir and Coutinho. France international Dembele has not been punished for turning up late to training on Sunday.
