Lionel Messi will come on to the Camp Nou pitch before the start of Saturday's game between Barcelona and Mallorca to parade his sixth Ballon d'Or to the home supporters.

The Argentine wants to celebrate the France Football prize with the Barça fans. The No.10 has always been grateful for the support he has received from the stands and has expressed us much on many occasions.

Despite his name being on the Ballon d'Or trophy once again, he understands that his teammates, staff at the club and the supporters have all played a massive part.

Therefore, he will once again be the centre of attention during a historic and emotional moment at Camp Nou when he offers the Ballon d'Or trophy to the crowd.

He has now claimed the prize more than any other player. He was previously locked on five with Cristiano Ronaldo, but has now pulled clear of the Juventus forward.
