At Barcelona they are working on improving the squad for next season. On Thursday night there was a dinner at Barcelona where Joan Laporta and Mateu Alemany met the right hand man of Jorge Mendes, per Gerard Romero.
One of the names spoken about was Javi Galan.; The Celta Vigo left back is one of the favourites of the board to reinforce the position where Barcelona only have Jordi Alba.
Per the report, Mendes is not Galan’s agent but he will try and be involved in the deal to move the Celta defender. Barcelona need to speak with Celta over a deal but from Vigo they say that he will only be sold for his release clause which is 18 million euros.
