Marc-Andre ter Stegen's record show at Son Moix

The German goalkeeper made 64 of 68 passes that he tried

Jordi Delgado

Barcelona's German goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen doesn't stop surprising Barca fans. In his first game back he helped the team keep a clean sheet against Mallorca in a 4-0 win, but actually did much more too.

He was top quality as usual with his feet. Per Opta, he got 64 of 68 passes accurate - 94%. That is breaking a record held in Spain since at least 2005-06, when stat recording for that began.

Ter Stegen stopped shots from Take Kubo among others, but perhaps his footwork was his most exciting and useful endeavour on Saturday night. Who is surprised? Nobody.
