If Ousmane Dembele scored the goal that won Barcelona the Super Cup, it was Marc-Andre ter Stegen's penalty save which ensured they took it home on time.

The German goalkeeper saved a spot-kick in the 90th minute that stopped the game going to extra-time. He condeded it for a supposed foul on Aleix Vidal which was just a collision, then dived to his left to deny Ben Yedder.

"We're happy for this title, we always prepare to win all the competitions," said Ter Stegen. "It was not a penalty becuse I couldn't get out of his way, but the important thing is that I stopped it and now we have the first title of the season."
