Just over 10 minutes had passed when Marc-Andre ter Stegen almost made a ridiculous error against Athletic Bilbao on Sunday.
After receiving the ball from Samuel Umtiti, the German tried to set Barcelona back on the attack but his wayward pass was capitalised on by Benat.
Athletic Bilbao's no.7 gathered his composure but fired straight into the frame of Ter Stegen, with the ball cannoning off the 24-year-old's chin on close inspection.
Thankfully for Ter Stegen it didn't take long for Ivan Rakitic to open the scoring to save his blushes.
Ter Stegen has, of course, been instated as Barça's goalkeeper in the league after Claudio Bravo's transfer to Manchester City, with the former Borussia Monchengladbach player under scrutiny now more than ever after finally getting his way and being instated as Luis Enrique's first choice goalkeeper.
