Luis Suarez's yellow card removed, but Pique still suspended for Valencia game

Spain's competition committee has agreed with Barcelona and removed the yellow card given to Luis Suarez during the win over Leganes last weekend, however they have upheld the booking awarded to Gerard Pique.

That means the defender, as expected, will miss the Liga clash with Valencia on Sunday through suspension.

Suarez had scrapped with goalkeeper Ivan Cuellar but the comittee agreed that what he did did not deserve a booking.
