Luis Suarez landed in Barcelona on Wednesday with his batteries charged and ready to get back to work on Monday. The Uruguayan will be the first of Barcelona's players who featured at the Copa America to return to training.

Suarez enters his sixth season at Barca at 32 years old and he faces a new challenge, with Barcelona having signed Antoine Griezmann to battle for his spot.

The forward welcomed the French striker with a private message and from Monday they will start to know each other in person.

Depending on how the Neymar deal goes, Valverde could enter the season with Messi on the right, Griezmann on the left and Suarez as centre-forward.

Last season Suarez hit 25 goals in 49 games, 21 in La Liga, 1 in the Champions League and 3 in the Copa).
