Liverpool have not forgotten about Samuel Umtiti. The French Barca defender has had various knee problems but is improving and big teams are interested. Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool are one of them and they know Barca won’t charge much for him.
The Reds signed Kabak and Davies for centra defence because they urgently needed players to fill the position. However in the summer they might look for a more permanent option.
Umtiti’s contract ends in 2023 but it’s a big deal and Barca would like to get it off their books.
