Users quickly wondered what was happening, with screenshots of Messi's vacant page being shared on Twitter.
Around 40 minutes later, Messi returned. The social media network is investigating what happened. Messi's people aren't worried about his account. Users joked that it was Cristiano Ronaldo, Jose Mourinho or Florentino Perez that made Messi disappear.
