Leo Messi celebrated bringing up 500 wins in Barcelona colours by scoring twice in Thursday's 5-0 win over Leganes in the Copa del Rey.

Antoine Griezmann, Clement Lenglet and Arthur Melo were also on target as Quique Setien's side booked their place in the last eight.

Messi's goals were not decisive on this occasion, with Barça already 2-0 up when he scored his first, a deflected effort past Leganes goalkeeper Ivan Cuellar.

His second arrived late on and made it 5-0 when he rounded Cuellar after a good pass from Ivan Rakitic, who had come off the bench.

Messi's 500 wins for the club have come in just 710 games, with 285 of those wins coming at Camp Nou. His next challenge comes on Sunday against Levante, when he can win his 200th league game at home.
