Barça could join the race for Kylian Mbappé, the rising star of European football. Mbappé would be the replacement for Neymar should the Brazilian leave for PSG, according to reports in Le Parisien.
The newspaper, which thinks the Neymar to PSG deal almost done, would be Barça’s target as they tried to plan for life without Neymar.
The chase for Mbappé, who is also wanted by Real Madrid and Manchester City, could be a repeat of Neymar’s move to Barcelona – in that case Real Madrid thought they had landed their man only for Barça to jump ahead of them.
