La Gazzetta dello Sport say that negotiations between Barcelona and Inter Milan over Ivan Rakitic are very advanced and a definitive agreement could arrive soon with only 10 million euros between the two sides.
They say there is the "smell of a deal" and that Inter delegate Giuseppe Marotta and sporting director Piero Ausilio have met in secret with Barcelona to negotiate.
Their offer is 35 million but Barcelona want 45m. 10m separating the two. If there is an agreement it could be around 40m.
The player, says Gazzetta, has given his agreement to Inter Milan, who are offering a three year deal, until 2022, for more than the 5.5m per season he gets at Camp Nou.
