Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman was delighted with the "deserved" win against Real Sociedad in La Liga at Camp Nou on Wednesday.

Analysis of the game: "It was the best first half we've played, we were very good with the ball and pressed well. We had chances. It could have been more than 2-1 at the break. The second half was complicated because of the opponent's quality. It was a really intense game. We created chances, but La Real had some, too."

Defence: "You cannot control a game for 90 minutes. And when you have to defend, you defend. The effort they put in was impressive. On attitude, the win was deserved."

Plan: "The system depends on the opponent. Sometimes you need one pivote and two interiors. With Pedri and De Jong, you can do the two things. In football these days there's a lot of movement. You also have to react to the change of positions rivals like La Real make."

Centre-backs: "Araujo and Mingueza are at Barça and know how to play with pressure. There's not fans, so it's different, but they showed their quality. They have a future."

Ter Stegen: "We have a great goalkeeper. He was very good to stop a goal going in in the second half."

Griezmann: "Antoine had bad luck with the shot that came off the bar because he did everything right. The other chance, the goalkeeper touched the ball a little. Martin Braithwaite also had a chance. The attitude is what stays with me."
