FC Barcelona's move for Iker San Vicente has become complicated. The 16-year-old defender, who has turned down Osasuna's, has more and more interested clubs all the time, with Juventus and Real Madrid joining the battle for his signature.
San Vincente developed at Osasuna but the club insisted on him signing a deal longer than one year and putting a release clause in the terms. Until 16, players renew year on year. However, when they turn 16 they can sign professional terms and that's what Osasuna were hoping for.
The youngster declined their offer, though, and is now interesting a number of clubs. Among them, Barça. The Blaugrana have good reports on the centre-back and is on their list of targets thanks to information from Abel Salcedo, the club's scout in the Basque Country.
Barça were the first to move for the player and he was excited by the opportunity. But the club now have competition, with Juve and Madrid also trying to convince him to sign for them.
