Less than a week ago, Bartomeu sent Pedri a message to congratulate him for his fine start to the season, giving him a 'well done' for his debut in the Champions League against Ferencvaros, where he scored.
Bartomeu also encouraged him to keep working to achieve success, words that the midfielder was grateful for.
