Barcelona announced on Saturday the players that will not continue with the B team next season. One of them is Jose Antonio Martinez, who has played for Barça B for the last two seasons. SPORT have learned that the centre-back will sign for Eibar and next season he will be a La Liga player.
Martinez, 25, is not the only one leaving the B team to play top flight football. Rodrigo Tarin is another. The defender has signed for Leganes. Barcelona have thanked them both for their efforts during their time at the club.
Jose Antonio joined the Catalan club two years ago from Sevilla Atletico. He played 56 times for the B team and was a key part of Gerard Lopez's side which won promotion from the third division in 2016-17. Now he has the chance to play in the Primera Division.
