Barcelona board member Jordi Mones has stepped down from his position due to his disagreement with the decision to go ahead with Sunday's game against Las Palmas.
Mones felt the game should not have been played because of the serious incidents which took place in Catalonia on Sunday as the region held a referendum on independence.
Therefore, he decided to hand his resignation in, as confirmed by RAC1.
Mones was a director on Bartomeu's board and had previously worked in the club's medical area.
Vice president Carles Vilarrubí had previously presented his resignation for the same reasons.
