FC Barcelona's former vice president, Jordi Mestre, spoke to Cadena SER's 'El Larguero' programme and was asked about Lionel Messi's situation at the club. He famously said Neymar would "200% stay" at Barça before the Brazilian signed for PSG. "No, no, no. I won't say the same with Messi now. In fact, it worries me a lot. I've learnt my lesson. But I hope the situation can be turned around."
Mestre also spoke to RAC-1 and said "it's too late to make a pact" with Messi. The former vice president claims the burofax Leo sent, coupled with his failure to attend training, shows that there's very little chance of changing Messi's mind.
