Jordi Alba spoke about the Champions League final in Kiev on Saturday and expressed his desire for Liverpool to beat Real Madrid.

At the presentation of his campus in Hospitalet, Alba said: "I want Liverpool to win. All Barca fans want Madrid to lose, like all Madrid fans want Barca to. That's life and it should be like that. We will watch the final and I hope the best team wins because we don't need to make a drama out of it. It's a game and I'll sleep the same whatever happens."

Alba said at Madrid he has "team-mates and friends" and the national team atmosphere is "brilliant". The player said: "The relationship with Madrid players is great, we have a lot of time with them in the national team, but still, I want them to lose games. What Jordi thinks as a player is different to Jordi as a person. Nobody should take it badly."

Alba siad he also wanted to retire at Barca, "the club of my life".
