Joan Laporta: We will pull the lever on the TV rights in the coming days

The president is ready to bring in the money for Barcelona's squad rebuild

While speaking at an event to make the club’s move to Montjuic Olympic Stadium for the 23-24 season, Joan Laporta explained that one of the economic levers the socios voted to activate would be pulled soon.

“We are abut to conclude one of them,” said Laporta. “We are working to execute the leverage related to the television rights. We will do so in a few days and in July we will do the other. We will make two or three operations to have our balance positive. That will allow us to pay off the debt reasonably and make a competitive team.”

 

Barcelona are about to put their economic plan in action to try and give Xavi the players he wants, including Robert Lewandowski and Bernardo Silva.
