Joan Laporta was present at a Diada event on Saturday along with Jordi Alba and Rafa Yuste, his vice president. During the event Laporta also spoke about coach Ronald Koeman, with whom he has exchanged opinions publicly this week in interviews.
“Koeman is very motivated because he knows the club respects him a lot,” said Laporta. “We have to look forward. We’re close together. We’re all going in the same direction.”
The Barcelona president also referred to Aleksander Ceferin’s words. The UEFA president said he wouldn’t mind having a Champions League without Barcelona, Real Madrid or Juventus.
“If he said that I think he’s wrong, but it’s his opinion,” said Laporta.
