Germany coach Joachim Low says if he takes Manuel Neuer to the World Cup it will be for the Bayern Munich stopper to be his No.1.
Neuer has not played for Barça this year but is one of four goalkeepers included in Germany's squad for this summer's finals in Russia.
Low will have to cut one before the World Cup starts and will give Neuer time to prove his fitness in upcoming friendly matches.
"If Manuel Neuer goes to the World Cup, he will go as No.1," Low told Sportschau on ARD.
In Neuer's absence, Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who won the Confederations Cup with Germany last summer, has picked up the gloves.

However, Low's message couldn't be clearer: if Neuer is fit then Ter Stegen, who had a brilliant season with Barça, will be the second choice in Russia.
