Italian side Torino interested in Barcelona right-back Wague

The defender is not playing under Valverde at Barça

SPORT.ES

The January transfer window is open and there is plenty of interest in Barcelona's players. Torino are the latest club to show an interest in someone, with the Italian club keen to take right-back Moussa Wague on loan.

Torino have contacted Barça to see if the Senegal international, who was promoted to the first-team squad in the summer, would be available until the summer.

Wague has played three times this season but is the third choice right-back, behind both Nelson Semedo and Sergi Roberto at Camp Nou.

Both clubs could meet in the next week to try and find an agreement with Wague's situation unlikely to change under Ernesto Valverde.

Wague played 90 minutes in the 2-1 win at Leganes (Sergi Roberto was suspended and Semedo injured) and another 90 minutes in the dead rubber Champions League game against Inter last month. His third appearance was a substitute at the end of the game against Borussia Dortmund at Camp Nou.
